New album finds international market
October 12, 2005, Nashville, TN - Mirrome Recording artist, Chris Gray, whose album From Where I Am was released this summer, is back home in Hammond, Louisiana and eager to get back to his rigorous touring schedule. The rash of hurricanes that pelted the Gulf States forced his family to seek refuge in Tennessee.
Meanwhile, his album has been making its way around the globe. The latest station to add cuts from the album entitled From Where I Am is Radio Rucphen in The Netherlands.
Gray's single, "I Keep It Under My Hat" is enjoying airplay throughout small-medium sized markets in the US as well. The album is available online and in stores, including Wal-Mart. The artist is slated for an acoustic tour of Wal-Mart locations in the coming months, and is eager to get back in front of the live audiences he loves.
Fans will remember Gray's patriotic video on GAC for the song "Red, White and Blue".
Through an agreement with Comstock Records, Mirrome Records president, Rod Carter, has arranged for limited international distribution of some of its products. The debut album by another Mirrome artist, Miko Marks, is included in the Mirrome-Comstock arrangement and that album, Freeway Bound is also finding listeners in Australia, Italy, Norway, New Zealand, The Netherlands, The UK and France.
Domestic distribution for Gray and Marks is being handled by Brown Bear Music Marketing of Nashville, TN.
