Chris Gray returns from Middle East

May 05, 2006, Nashville, TN - Grab the camera and head to the NOLA Airport on Monday, May 8 for the homecoming of Mirrome Records Recording Artist, Chris Gray, who has been entertaining troops in the wartorn Middle East. (Arrival: Continental Airlines, 6:47 p.m.)

The Hammond, LA native and his band have been performing in one of the world's most volatile regions. The 3-week Armed Forces Entertainment tour took the group to Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, Djibouti and Bahrain.

This is the second AFE tour for the artist who traveled with his band in 2005 to Hawaii, Kwajalein, Guam, Japan and Okinawa.

A Navy veteran himself, Chris is nonplussed by danger in the region. "I am simply honored to have this opportunity to give back," says Chris, who recently released his second single from the album From Where I Am. The song, "Something I Want" is currently enjoying airplay in the US and 14 other countries and recently hit the #1 on the IndieWorld Chart and #2 on Inside Country.
