Mirrome Artist Saddles Up for Local Show

Nashville, TN - July 30, 2005 - Mirrome Recording artist, Miko Marks, who's single "Freeway Bound" is climbing Confederate Radio charts, is set to entertain TONIGHT at The Saddle Rack, California's premier country night club, 42011 Boscell Road, Fremont (510.979.0477).

Miko Marks, who signed with the independent label in the presence of fans at CMA Music Fest 2005 (former known as Fan Fair) in Nashville, TN, recently released her debut album, "Freeway Bound". The singer/songwriter will perform songs from the album along with country standards.

Miko, ( began to define her passion as a singer/songwriter growing up in Flint, Michigan, the industrial heartland of the country. Her songs are honest and raw with personal, intimate lyrics supported by stirring melodies. With a voice clear and powerful, at once tender and the next minute gutsy and in-your-face, Marks offers up her music as a testament to emotion and experiences we all share.

After a stint at Louisiana's Grambling State University, Marks made the move to the San Francisco Bay area, where she continues to find inspiration for her life and songs.

"Freeway Bound" was recorded in Nashville with legendary producer, Ron Cornelius, and will be available at the Country Store at the Saddle Rack and available on The album features the title cut, along with rocking hits like "Don't Come Cryin' To Me", "Excited", and the touching "Mama", a song the artist wrote in memory of her mother.
