Miko Releases New CD at CMA Music Festival
- June 07, 2007 - Nashville, TN - Mirrome Records recording artist, Miko Marks, rocked the house at BB King's nightclub in Nashville during the HMG/Powersource showcase, one of many events being held during the annual CMA Music Festival in Nashville.
Multi-award winning radio and TV personality, Rich Miller, introduced the young star and urged the audience to keep an eye on this girl, calling her, "the next big thing".
Marks' sophomore project, "It Feels Good", produced by Grammy Award winner, Ron Cornelius, is set for release during the 4-day country music event. Miko performed 2 songs from the album with applause lasting longer than her brief appearance.
Miko's first album, Freeway Bound, was named the "Best New Country Album" in the 2006 Independent Music Awards.
Her performances during CMA Music Fest include the Acoustic Corner, Room 209 Nashville Convention Center on Friday, June 8 at 1:15 p.m. and the New Country Star Fan Fair Party at the Courtyard by Marriott, Nashville, Friday, June 8 at 5:00 p.m. (For free tickets, www.newcountrystar.com)
